Cochrane Anaesthesia Review Group is looking for a medical student, with an interest in anaesthesiology and systematic reviews, to work an average of 7 hours per week from 1.9.2014.
The work includes secretarial tasks such as collecting and distributing the agenda, writing minutes at our meetings, which take place 4-6 times a year. Additionally, you must participate in the preparation of funding applications and help the Managing Editor and Trials Search coordinator with tasks such as searching for peers, and arranging editors’ meetings. Our operations are conducted in English and you are expected to be fairly fluent in both written and spoken English. We would prefer an applicant who is outgoing and with ideas that can help the fundraising.
You are expected to be present at the meetings, which usually start at 3 pm and last for 2-3 hours.
The job may include some travel opportunities and participation in various anaesthesia related research activities with or without pay.
